The National Marine Parks Alliance is a growing, inclusive UK network for the open exploration and development of the UK’s National Marine Parks. Our membership consists of National Park Authorities, National Landscapes, public bodies, ports and harbours, fisheries, eNGOs, community groups, politicians and young people, who aid us in critically identifying potential challenges and opportunities on how National Marine Parks could deliver for nature and communities.
The Alliance is a space for open dialogue, welcoming diverse perspectives and lived experiences from across sectors, across the UK. You are welcome to join us.

• Exploratory pilot projects
• An accreditation scheme for voluntary designations
• Gap analysis of existing designations
• Place-based resources and more local champions
• Guideline toolkit for communities and Councils
• A National Marine Parks ‘one-pager’ to clarify purpose
