Nature-rich National Parks for everyone
We are the only independent charity dedicated to securing the future of National Parks in England and Wales. Our independence from government means we can speak out for Protected Landscapes when no-one else can. Our mission is clear: we’re here to unite, inspire and empower everyone to take action and enjoy wilder National Parks.
Stories from across the Parks
Over the summer of 2025 we're sharing some thoughtful, magical, creative stories from young people across England and Wales as part of our New Perspectives project.

Rivers at Risk
National Park rivers in England and Wales should be the cleanest and most protected in the country - but many are at risk. If we can’t protect the waters of our National Parks, we can’t claim to be serious about ending the UK’s water crisis. Help us rescue our rivers.

Beautiful and thriving landscapes
We're passionate about National Parks. They're a stunning patchwork of habitats, countryside and communities which capture the diverse beauty of the landscapes in the UK.
"National Parks exist as a place where anyone can go and enjoy the countryside; an essential right we can’t afford to lose."
Timothy, 2022/23 New Perspectives young film maker

I only learnt what a National Park was last year. Since then, I’ve been to four National Parks so far and plan to get round to them all. For me, a National Park is a glimpse of the wider world and the wonders of Mother Nature. My ambition is to enable others like me to be able to experience going to National Parks.
