Mosaic Champions win New Discoverer Award!

Fazielat and Shamshad Iqbal have been presented the New Discoverers Award by the Northumberland National Park Authority, Both Fazielat and Shamshad have been involved in encouraging young Asian women from the the Angelou Centre in Newcastle to the National Park since 2002.

Fazielat is co-opted to the Volunteer Rangers Committee to help steer some of their work to include disadvantaged groups and Shamshad represents Northumberland BME Community Champions on the National Mosaic Network Group which sprang from the Campaign for National Parks’ last National Mosaic project.
