Campaign for National Parks seeks two new trustees

We are looking for two individuals with commitment and passion to join our Trustee Board. It follows the decision by Chris Naylor and Goronwy Edwards to step down earlier this year due to work commitments.

We are particularly looking for an individual with experience in communications and marketing, for example in the fields of fund-raising, journalism and/or politics, to help steer our plans to raise awareness with external audiences and to develop the charity's fund-raising capacity.

We are also looking for a strategic thinker with a strong background in environmental conservation, particularly protected landscapes, to help us develop and champion our ideas for the future of National Parks.

Most importantly, you will help inspire everyone to look after and enjoy National Parks.

Experience within the voluntary sector and campaigning would be an advantage. All trustee postions are non-executive and voluntary, and therefore not remunerated.

For further information about CNP and the role, contact Anne Robinson (Chair) on or on 01433 650 934

If you feel you have the right experience and skills please email with a brief CV and an expression of interest of no more than 600 words explaining why you would like to join our Board and what expertise and experience you would bring to it.

Closing date for applications is Friday 29 August 2014. Interviews will take place on Thursday 11 September 2014.
