Fundraising news

What makes an Adventurer?

Earlier this year Sir Chris Bonington and Ben Fogle gave a fascinating insight into what motivates and drives them to succeed in the most challenging places on earth. The venue was appropriately the Royal Geographical Society, and in conversation with journalist Libby Purves, Chris and Ben kept a packed theatre enthralled with tales of frost bite, nudity, avalanches and bear attacks! CNP would like to thank our sponsors Berghaus and HF Holidays. With their support we raised over £11,000 for our campaigning work.

CNP launches its Park Protector Award

This spring CNP launched its Park Protector Award in the prestigious RAC Pall Mall Clubhouse. Lunchtime guests were greeted by Lord Judd, CNP’s Vice President, who launched the award and spoke about his own commitment to CNP and our work. David Smith from the Exmoor Mire Project gave a presentation about the significance of awards through their endorsement and support of projects.

The PPA will recognise and reward a project or individual that demonstrates excellence in the fields of restoration, conservation or preservation within the National Parks.

CNP would like to thank The Caravan Club for generously supporting the launch.
