We’ve welcomed National Grid’s proposed approach to prioritising the lines that will benefit from the new allowance to reduce the visual impact of pylons and transmission lines in protected landscapes.
Taking the Long View, the Welsh Government’s policy statement on protected landscapes, needs to be strengthened and made much clearer if it is to provide a strategic policy framework for Wales’s National Parks.
13 September 2013: Concerns about Atlantic Array wind farm registered
We've formally registered our concerns about proposals for the Atlantic Array, a 240 turbine wind farm in the Bristol Channel, as there would be significant impacts on Exmoor and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks.
