What does your money help us do?
National Park status brings with it one of the highest levels of environmental protection. Yet legislation alone cannot and does not offer sufficient security, especially with modern day demands for development and economic growth. That is why organisations such as CNP exist. We are realistic and accept that development and progress are necessary for communities living in the National Parks to thrive, but CNP is convinced that this can be achieved in a sustainable way, to ensure that National Parks are conserved for future generations to enjoy.
Supporting the work of CNP means that we will be able to continue our work to protect the Parks and help the public learn more about their importance. We do this by:
- lobbying government
- taking on individual campaigns
- commissioning research
- supporting other organisations
- giving free talks to public and community groups
- running community-based projects to help disadvantaged groups enjoy the benefits of National Parks
CNP is a small organisation with a well-earned reputation for punching above its weight. This means that our overheads are low and all your donations will be channelled into protecting our beautiful National Parks.
